Eventually I'll get 'round to mine, how soon do you need 'em?Originally Posted by Colin17
not soon, but I want them
esp. pics of the orange CGT!
You must be talking about a different event... I was on the grounds 4 days in a row, not once did I see an orange CGT. I think I might've seen a CGT somewhere, but they're so... unimpressive and underwhelming... that I can't remember for the life of me where or when.Originally Posted by Colin17
Any examples of said orange CGT?

I think that is the Techart tuned Carrera GT that was added to the Hide-out a couple of days ago. Whether it was at Monterey or not I have no idea.Originally Posted by Colin17

im psched im goin there next summer, that and road america! how much are the tickets arnt they like $150 but i think its totally worth it to see the nicest cars in north america.
I could only make it to Monterey for Saturday and Sunday this year, but still managed to cram in a lot of stuff. On Saturday I started at the RM Auction viewing as they had a yellow McLaren F1 on display to be auctioned that evening. Then I headed over to Pebble to check out the displays there on Saturday before heading to the Historics in the afternoon where another McLaren was on display and the Toyota F1 car was due to set some fast laps. Following that I went back to the RM Auciton to witness the yellow F1 and several other beauties cross the stage that evening.
Sunday started at the Historics again to get better photos of the McLaren F1 that was there. It wears a very unique paint color called "Aubergine" and the bright sun the day before had made decent shots of it impossible. I wandered the paddock for a while then I headed back out to Pebble for all that there was to see there. It was my first Concours d'Elegance and it was a great event. The cars were all beautiful and I met some great friends.
All in all, I took over 1000 photos - 290 of which were of the two McLaren F1s. The entire set are spread across these three Imagestation albums.

They're all uploaded at 1024x768, but double that resolution is available if anyone sees something they desperately want larger. Please send me an email at Peloton25-at-Hotmail.com if there is something you'd like.
Enjoy the pics!

Nice pics Peloton..
Thank you alot
Thank you! Great pics!
But no orange CGT there......
Thanks for the compliments guys. My photos are average in comparison to some of the other shutterbugs that were running around the town, including 3 who "work" here that were all very nice to meet in person.
Now, don't quote me on this, but I believe that the Orange CGT was only at the Jet Center Party held on Thursday night. I think it might have been up for auction by Christies, but I can't be sure of that. I never actually saw it myself.
