    Snow Tires - In August?

There's an EVO VIII here in town with four brand-new Bridgestone Blizzak "studless" radials. The tread compound is very soft, but odd-feeling. It really feels more like foam rubber than anything you'd associate with a performance tire.

The guy who owns it said that they weren't winter tires, but "just Mitsubishi upgraded tires" (whatever that could mean)

I'm sure they are winter tires, but why on earth would his dealer put them on his car in the middle of a ****ing Arkansas heat wave?

Does this guy know something I don't about snow tires, or is he really that dense?

Well, judging by the brand name, these tires are for blizzards!!!

It is a dedicated winter tire

That's what I was thinking. After all, he did buy an EVO when perfectly good STi's are sitting in a Little Rock showroom.

I'm sorry 'IWantAnRS6' I'd still have an Imprezza WRX STi, however much I love the exterior of the Evo's, the I'd much prefer to live with the ol' Scooby
