    Well there goes a very nice porsche aero kit..man that's a 10 grand option on the car..wonder what those repairs would cost..oww my wallet hurts

    That Porsche looks in surprisingly good shape for having just smoked a rebar reinforced concrete pole and levelling it.

    That car broke the concrete pole right at the base too... i wonder how he ended up that way crashing into the pole...

    How fast was he going?

    My pops hit a metal light pole and completly thrashed the car but the pole only had a dent. That cement one is completly wack.

    In the first picture you can see the cars tracks, must have lost control, hit the pole which is on a median, then went across the other lane and ended up over there.

    I'd have to say that is either a very hard car or a very soft pole.

    Damage doesn't look that extensive on a first look basis. One thing is sure, the crash was a fast one, given how far the car is from the pole. I'd think it would have some serious structural damage (i.e. a writeoff). Also, seems like no airbags deployed...

    Looks to have gone into the pole tail 1st - so airbags wont be set off by that.

    Very nice of the pole to take the impact and fail and not damage the car too much
