    Did that yesterday in my 206 there was still some revs left... worryingly...

    Cornering was VERY unstable at that speed. It frightened the hell out of me, so I slowed down...

    With a 6th gear and twin turbos, I will be unstoppable.

    I, on the other hand, barely noticed it...

    210km/h twice, once here on the motorway, and the second time this summer in the motorway from Rome to Milan.

    *sighs*

    Damn.

    It was fun for me. 15" wheels should sort my stability, but screw with my ride quality I'm tempted to go for the 16" Peugeot Nimrod alloys.

    Oh yeah- we're coming to Barcelona on the 16th of February- PM me if you want to meet up.

    Nah, looks like Matra doesn't have split personality disorder after all.

    This is his - http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...achmentid=7315

    IIRC it was the one that was 'blown up' in the half-assed BBC soap opera Eldorado.

    Still, there can't be many A610 drivers in Edinburgh, bit of a coinkydink.

    I did 285 kph in an R8 two months ago on the autobahn (A59) between Duesseldorf and Cologne. Fantastic car and incredible traction with the awd...;

    well, i don't normally drive like this, but on one occasion, on a long straight deserted road, i took an old holden premier (1970 or 71 model - i can't remember which) up to an indicated speed of just over 90mph - it started to shake rather alarmingly and it looked like i was going to run out of road, so i slowed down at that point.....

    100 mph (160.93 kph), 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.
    There was plenty of reserve power and I would have liked to have taken it up to 110 or 120 mph, but I was already taking a chance going 100 mph on a local freeway.
