****ing Apple says my warranty expired when in the manual you get with it, it says Lifetime warranty
I have to wait until my mom gets back on Monday to order a new one cuz they require credit card info. to pay for the $2.99 shipping
I'm not sure stepping on it is covered by the warranty anyway...
Everything is covered in the warranty.
My brother's went in with a load of laundry and we had to do the exact same thing.
I don't understand the shuffle... it's just a cd player w/ a forced 'shuffle' function.
CD players are bigger, and the Shuffle can play the songs in the right order.Originally Posted by Rockefella

And it stores more than a regular audio CD... (1Gb version...)
I threw my last iPod into the carpet at my lakehouse (relates to story because the carpet is made out of sea grass, its really hard) and it was def. not covered in warranty...
He came dancing across the water
With his galleons and guns
Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls
Now that I think about it I should have bought a 2GB Zen...
Agreed there, I just think the concept is stupid.Originally Posted by IWantAnAudiRS6

I hate how badly Apple price gouges
Why does apple need to know you stepped on it? For all they know you could have been in an auto accident and the iPod broke on impact, or you were beat up by gangsters on the street, OR it could have been grazed by a bullet in a school shooting.
I'm just saying this: Apple isnt going to do an investigation on your iPod.
