I think the black one in post #55 is a test mule.

I guess they are for manufacturers, altough I'm not completely familiar with Germany's registration system.

In any case, this mule has the consecutive plate after the one in the black 8C, so at least it must be from Alfa Romeo.

i don't think it is a test mule. for sure the plate tells something, but i guess they are connected to the owner, so the manufacturer, and not to the car. in fact the old mule posted by ferrer is very old, just some months after the announcement of the production, while this car is the final version (look at the rims or the fog lamps for example) and the pic is recent, because of the regular plate of the 430 scuderia and the way people are dressed.
it appears like montecarlo, and they nearly for sure cannot have a scuderia in fall 07. i worked at fiorano circuit at the end of september 07, and they was still testing the pre-production cars (i managed to see a lot of scuderias before of you, hahaha, but it is not the same thing as to see one on the road or in my rearview mirror).

in this days in modena they are checking a lot of 8C before the delivering (i didn't already see one, damn!) (a good occasion for a trip ferrer...), even if i guessed (wrong, it appears) they already sent them all. a folk of my tenant is going to get one his personal 8C by the end of may.
eventually, they can assembly the 8C in the same time as the granturismo.

maybe this spotted is a pre-production car, one of those they built just the check if there are some problems on the assembly line.

A Ferrari is a dream, two Ferraris are paradise while three Ferraris are just too good to be true

When i went to the motorshow, i thought i'd take some 8C pics as well.
Because the stand was busy, and it was very close to the glass (which i refused to take pictures through, cos they came out crap last time i did) i didn't get any really nice pictures. I did take some though, so thought i'd share them.

Unbelievably good looking though, absolutely stunning. Would give my right testicle and my right leg for one.
