    Coolest Muscle Car

I saw the coolest car on TV the other day that I never knew existed. It's the Ford Torino King Cobra. Only 3 were ever made and they were built to race NASCAR but never did because of a rules change. What makes this car cool? It's powered by a racing version of the BOSS 429 engine and makes 650hp! Too bad more of them were never made.

Italdesign Nazca C2 powered by a BMW V-12. Close to 400hp but very light weight. It's been one of my favorite cars since Need For Speed 2 came out for Playstation. NFS 2 Ruled!

some factory HEMI engines used to make figures close to that but were never quoted above 425hp at a fairly lowish 4000rpm.

Coolest muscle car, it's a tie between the 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda and the 1970 Plymouth Superbird. And that Torino really looks like somebody grafted on the front end off of a 280ZX.

Not too many were made, i dont think they actually went into production. Italdesign usually makes one-off custom/concept cars.

Speed Channel episode of My Classic Car. BTW, the owner removed the original Boss 429 and replaced it with a CanAm 494; that's where the 650hp came from.

this car came before th 280ZX so the 280 ZX would have had to graft its front off of a Torino King Cobra.
