Ferrari Challenge day or, my day of bliss :)

My daughters clubbed together for my birthday to give me an advanced driving experience around Swartkops Raceway, South Africa. A morning in a race-spec Ferrari 360 Modena!!!! OMG, gotta love 'em.

Below are some pics of the cars. I drove the black one but posed with the red one. So many things to get used to, not least of which was the prancing horse in the centre of the steering wheel. Brilliant day, never to be forgotten.

We took some amateur videos and the sound is a must to really bring the drive to life. They would exceed the .mpg limit here, so I'll post the links to Photobucket instead.

    Let the games begin:

Getting the hang of the pit straight:

You in the red car, move it or get out my way:

    Not again!

    Game over:

    Hope you enjoy.

Certainly was. Thanks for the birthday wish, although that was back in June (was given a voucher, had to make a booking and wait, wait, wait ) and thanks for the welcome.

Keep your hopes on your daughter cause I've heard your kid is close-fisted.

Lets hope you dont have any at your age! Awesome experience few things sound better than a Ferrari Engine, although I love the sound of the F50 the most.

The racing team had a professional photographer on hand who seems to have gone walk-about around the track. Their CD with 219 pics arrived in the post today. Thought I'd share some of his on-track shots.
