It's a coach-builder and I'm not sure oif they may have done some German autos though.
Did plenty of Italian, French and British, so in all likelihood they may have.
So you MAY see their badge on a German auto makers chassis. not sure.
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
wild guess: Michelotti or are we talking pre-war.

Swiss.
Italian-French name and NO connection with the Italian part
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
in relation to post war Swiss I can only think of Graber, Sbarro and Monteverdi, and none of them meet your description.

One part of the name is unusual as the coachbuilder hd NOTHING to do with the famous name but only asked them if he coudl use it in his own country and they agreed
So the first part of the name is a well known Italian. The second part ss French and the hint is in the badge itself.

Wow, either this has become boring or I've found a really hard one.
OK, another hint, they're Swiss.
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
just spent 10 minutes on google, looking for Swiss coach builders, nothing coming up, just Gangloff, Graber and Hartmann.
(NB, it does not help much if the same hint is given twice )

could it be Marbach?

None so far.
So more hints
Pietro Frua designed some of their cars.
and here's the Lotus body
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
did this coachbuilder make a body for a 1937 V16 Cadillac Roadster?
An it harm none, do as ye will
Approximately 79% of statistics are made up.
Frua has designed for Monteverdi, but I would consider that a car builder and not a coach builder.Originally Posted by Matra et Alpine
