The orignal badge had NO flag.
The flag was added (I presume) when it moved to a region ( there's a hint there ) with this as their flag.
Don't know why it's not in the car badge, but the flag for that region I can find has a crown in the middle of the Union Flag. The bottom part of the flag is like waves.
So it didn't come from or go to UK.
    A more exotic starting point.

That was a hard one, the flag threw me, interesting history on the company if you go to their web site.

here is the complete badge and the new challenge.
Come on all you guys playing the "junior" version, get in here and start guessing

Equally give me some feedback please, is this a waste of my time ? Just trying my best to make UCP a bit more interesting and informative

This was a very long shot, I googled for Canadian car makers and to my own surprise found Intermeccanica there, and located in BC. I thought they had died a long time ago in Italy.
Whether this is a waste of time is a philosophical issue. Are we on earth to guess badges? To look at carwebsites while the bathroom needs major refurbishment? Not necessarily but it increases the fun factor of life.
