    nope.

As it's an older one you get one more hint ....

The name was derived from surnames of its founders: Lamy and Akar.

Wow, that was a tough one. I must say, for the sake of honesty, that I had to do a google search to find the answer. Amilcar is correct.

I'll take a shot and say Plymouth?

I don't have much of a clue about Indy racing, so I don't know.

But it was challenged on the day.
The story behind what went on next is astonishing.

    Lozier, driver Mulford,
further a Fiat and a Mercedes, but those are not the badges. BTW You are starting this thing very early in the morning, do you have internet in your commuter car?

Youngest is goign in to school for "study support" over the Easter break - major exams in 2 months - so I'm up getting breakfast and been told she doesn't need to be in for another hour.... so just wasting some time

    Anyway, yep, Lazier.
Here's the promised link - http://www.na-motorsports.com/Journa.../RussellJ.html - and interesting timing method and a great story which paints a totally disorganised picture of the first Indy

I think everyone knows the script, Here's the complete badge and the new one to go for
