I would take the Porsche Cayenne S. The Cayenne (in my opinion) is much better looking SUV than the others. I think the Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz R500 4Matic, Volkswagen Touareg and the BMW X5 are all ugly SUV's. The Cayenne looks imposing, strong and stylish and I really do think it is a very good looking SUV. Also, I think the Cayenne has a great/better interior when compared to the other SUVs featured in this poll. I love the Cayenne's comfortable seats and beautiful dashboard (Note: I don't own a Cayenne). I would prefer a Cayenne Turbo but in my opinion the S is still very nice.

    X5 looked good - 5 years back i supposed.
Cayenne - Looked very much like a frog, but rather commands presence
R Class? Its an MPV, i thought it should be the M class then ?
Toureg - Styling that blends into the background. Hmm stealthy SUV?
Q7 - Awesome looks, menacing. The styling thou looked good, but kinda preictable ain't it? And if differs alot to the previous subtle, understated Audi which kinda used to be Audi's heritage.
IMO, the most suprising one is the XC90 which IMO was really well designed, surprising yet sustains Volvo's family looks.

Q7 for me from this list.

Thanks. But rather my choice is based on the list. In accordance of each's improvements i would really rate the XC90 higher for what they've done on their first shot. But it's already kinda old.

    Love your sig. haha ~

Age shouldn't count against a car- many old ones still get by. The McLaren F1 is still a beast, so is the first Subaru Impreza WRX!

Glad you like it... there's plenty more where that came from

Well clearly the Mercedes R500 is the best here. Come on, its a Merc. What more could you want? Plus it has that amazing design.

R500 is a MPV. M-Class should be in this list. Who made the list? Just gotten your license? Or you can't renew one cos of your age?

The R-Class is a tricky one to pigeonhole. On one hand, it's a luxury estate. On another, it's an SUV. On another, it's a limo. And it's also meant to be a people carrier. Talk about an identity crisis...

A 1 and a half feet deep trench and there it goes. Yup, i do know that it's kind of a mixbag, but there's the M Class, which significantly, should be the representative from Merc in this comparo.

I wholeheartedly agree, but Top Gear ran a test between a Land Rover Discovery and an R-Class, instead of an ML/G-Class...

They picked the 7 seater discovery against the R-Class becuse there was noting like the R class, i supposed. M class is a 5 seater.

    Touché

Yes, I think the Discovery won. I can't remember. But you get what I mean...
