    '67 Toyota 2000GT

I tried to find some details about the 2000GT, but I only found two indications for that car:
    1. 147 HP and
    2. 152 HP
    Which one is right?

And a second question: I've heard that the 2000GT was also a Bond-Car. Is that right? If it's right, which movie was it?

Hi there and welcome to UCP.

The only 2000 GT roadster ever built was in fact a Bond Car in "You Only Live Twice".
About the power output, as far as I know, it had 150 bhp.

Yeah, and the reason Bond didn't drive it was because Sean Connery was too tall to fit in it.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Urban myth because there is no such thing as a man too tall to fit on a convertible/roadster.

The Toyota 2000GT is so nice that I have to post a pic up of it.

I can only dream of the fun from being behind the wheel of this car on a windy road!

A bit off topic,,, but this sight has some cool car paintings!

aaah but he had long legs. and you can buy one in Gran Turismo 2. Also, some crappy examples are vintage racing around europe.

You can get one in GT4 too. I've been thinking about buying one. I'm just too lazy to tune it.

Actually, it wasn't a Bond car, as it was used by his ally, a japanese secret agent Aki. Bond doesn't drive any car in this movie. As for the conversion, two cars were converted to roadsters, one is in now Toyota's museum.

339 or 351, according to various sources. Produced 1966-1970.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Apparently they run $85,000 to $165,000. Also, there have been at least a couple customer cars custom converted to convertibles.

Wow, we learn about cars (mainly) and English (indirectly) in this forum.
