Yes, it's official, a new Holden SS Thunder Ute has been realesed. With a 160kW LS2 6.0L Engine, Perfomance brakes, 18'' alloy wheels, Leather Sports Seats, Hard Tonneau and unique badging, this car is ready for anything. I can't find any pics, but go on Holden Australia's website:

I just had a look at the site, they've just re-done it. It has the VZ HBD 18" wheels that have polished spokes and the rest is black crackle paint

    I'll stand corrected then.

Love those wheels...they look great. HSVLVR - you could make a living writing press kits

    160kw?

    WTF?

    From 6 litres?!

Just checked the site, it's 260

Looks wicked. Wish we had that here, a Thunder VXR would sell like hotcakes to the bad boy racers

It's funny i was getting petrol and one past me over a week ago. The colour stood out too me first then the wheels. Also it seem to look higher off the ground more like a VE.
First thing i thought of was it was some HBD wheels on it with thunder badge.

They look great with the Thunder hard tonneau, with the 2 bulges. It's hotness.

nice ute, personally, ford never should have gone away from the one moulded body for the ute, Holden's stablemate have always had a an edge in looks ,especially from a 3/4 front, or rear view and a side profile

It makes the design flow better, but IMO it makes the normal models look better as the solid cut off from the cabin makes it look better proportioned.

Looks quite badass. I like it. I miss the old El Camino type vehicles, glad they still have new ones somewhere in the world.

L76 i'd say, with that power output
