    David Hasselhoff: K.I.T.T. is gay!

Actor David Hasselhoff, also known as Micheal Knight (Knight Rider), said in a interview that his car K.I.T.T. was homosexual. According to Hasselhoff the Pontiac Trans Am regularly tried to secude him. He asked him several times if he could bring him home. Hasselhoff probably revealed all this to promote his new single "Jump In My Car" or the rumours that there is going to be a Knight Rider movie.

    Is this a joke?

I figured that K.I.T.T. wasn't exactly totally straight... he always had gay tiffs. And the constant calling for Michael when he got cemented said a lot for 'his' sexual orientation

Why is it that much of a big deal? Would you care as much if the car felt the need to hump any of Michael's girlfriends? Gay people have been around quite a while now, they're not objects of amusement and curiosity...

so who or what is gay, the car or the guy.
Once fanboyism infects you it impares all your judgement.
It's like being drunk, you lack common sense and everyone laughs at you.

kitt had the gayest steering wheel ever
there is a kit that tranforms trans into the kitt thing
and when a magazine tested it, they said you needed to open your legs wide to allow the steering wheel to go more the 90 degrees in a direction
and i think kitt only had emission strangled 60hp anyway

True story. K.I.T.T., or a KITT anyway, came up for sale in the pages of the Dupont Registry. One of my friends called the number and chatted with the seller for about 20 minutes about why he wanted to buy the car (nostalgia for the 80's, his wife would love it, the kind of sense of humor that one requires to appreciate K.I.T.T. sitting in the driveway for the neighbors to see, etc).

Then, when it looked like the deal was done, he said "well, can I talk to him?"
    "Who?," the seller asked.
    "KITT, is he around?"
    Dial tone.

Other than calling Desert Motorcars, a Rolls Dealer in Las Vegas and telling them his new Azure was doing great until he tried to cross a sand dune, it was one of the best crank calls I ever heard.

I don't understand most of what you said but I think you mean Super Pursuit Mode.

Honestly, wouldn't it be deadly if your lowly Yugo had that? You press that button in the ashtray, and BAM, it turns into a Veyron?

    That would be basic transportation!

As far as I understand, he meant that there are companies (e.g. Mark's Custom Kits from Kissimmee, FL) that sell kits which allow you to transform an ordinary Trans Am into a KITT-lookalike.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

They also sell a kit to transform a Ford Taurus into a Mercury Sable, though it's less popular.
You can also get your Volkswagen Phaeton transformed, intriguingly enough, into a hot-air baloon.
