Since I was 7, I've loved Mustangs, for all their faults. I remember one of the first model cars I bought with my own pocket money was a yellow 1/24 scale Majorette Mustang the '94 one. I even made a little aerial for it, to stick on the front.

Nothing's changed now. Despite the fact that it's a big, dumb hulk, I just love it. It's in my Top 10 Dream Garage.

Definitely a good set of reasons. Sentimental value is... valuable.

I would add some racing seats to a vette they make some nice ones now. The powered seats are heavey you can around 50ish lbs by switching to a seat that you manually adjust. Even though the car is light you can still take weight off it and still have it be a nice car to drive. For the price of a C6 I might just buy a C5 Z06 the 02-04 cars have a more aggresive cam and produce more horse then a C6.

The Monaro would have the GT500 easily as theyre about equal on weight and power, but the Monaro has it on handling.

The C6 though, that 100hp is easily accounted for by the better balance and less weight the C6 has.

I know, its got the unique front styling bla bla bla....

Pity the whole things still booooring. Those wheels are a snoozefest and theyve managed to make a sports car look like its had a lift kit.

not to mention every '05 body shape mustang manages to look like a plastic toy unless it's in a really good metallic paintjob..and even then it sometimes still does.

In a preference, I'd have the Monaro over the GT500. Hence my statement. It wasn't mentioned that the Monaro was faster than both in the post I quoted, anyway...

I know that the C6 would still own both, as they are 2-door saloons and not ground-up sports cars.

The C6 is without a doubt one of the best-value, fastest cars you can buy for your wodge, but I just don't like it that much. I'm totally indifferent to its charms.
