I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Money can't buy you friends, but you do get a better class of enemy.
Unchallenging to drive. Completley unaffordable. Extremely bad fuel range. Only space for 1 passenger. Not much luggage space. Flat soundtrack. Nuff said?Originally Posted by Ingolstadt
IMO it would have to be along the lines of Audi RS6 or VXR Monaro. However, Clio 192 Trophy is a great all rounder.

Economic in what respect? Fuel, servicing, parts or depreciation? As far as I'm aware, it's fairly terrifying in each respect.Originally Posted by IWantAnAudiRS6

Fuel should be OK. In a high gear, it'll churn out OK numbers. Servicing- 3 year/100,000 mile warranty, and cheap at my local guy. Parts- OK, a bit trickier, but as a haunter of breaker's yards I know that not everything is impossible...
Depreciation- already £15,995 instead of £27,995. Future classic, too. So hold onto it, and you'll reap the dividends!
What do you mean by ultimate? In luxury, performance, both?

I present to you all, the ultimate car.

now, remember that this is just my opinion, but I believe that the Mazda RX-8 is the ultimate car.
It is great looking, it seats four, yet it is a sports car. It can be ordered with a transmission that is automatic, then can be changed to maunel with paddle shifters, it hadnles the roads like a champ, and can be pretty reliable if you take care of it properly.
But, that is just my opinion.
No, my point was that no single car can be considered the ultimate. Keep up laddoOriginally Posted by Ingolstadt
It doesn't really matter what area of the ultimate car you say (performance, luxery, etc) it all helps.
Some more info on wat specks the car needs like 4wd, made of carbon fibre, etc
The 911 turbo does all the things you just listed, but better.Originally Posted by Prius
yeah, but there are three things holding it back:
It costs an arm and a leg
No rear doors
It costs more to maintain it than the cost of the car itself.
