Sorry to split hairs, and I could be wrong, but isn't the S-Type R the more equal comparison from the Jag stable? I thought the XJ was 7/A8/S sized. The S-Type is Jag's 5-series competitor.

And with that then, I'd take the S-Type R. Not sure why though. Just would.

The horsepower figures arent right for sure. I dont know the exact difference between hp and bhp

But E63 has 517 hp and the audi S6 figure is wrong too, they first claimed it would have 420 hp but later they got to 435 hp.

I never actually liked any benz (including SLR) but the looks of CLS really does send A6s or 5s to the drawing boards. It's the looks, and if it's bout weapons of choice, it had to look good as well performs.
