Funny that all of the negative reviews at rootentomatoes have been attacked by regular members from the forum and chat community..fanboys unite lol
saying that, i look forward to it. It was never meant to be historically correct, a factor which has left many holes in several reviews, and furthermore the action is derived from the guts and glory form the graphic novel of the same name.

Going to see the movie at the Madison IMAX on friday. Looks cool and judging from the short movie (hour and a half) it will be the single longest battle sequence ever, (hour and 29 minutes)

I just saw it yesterday. The movie was too awesome. It just cannot be described in words how freaking sweet it was. We tried getting IMAX tickets but they were sold out for the whole day, so we settled with normal tickets. Can't wait for the DVD now.
Madness? This...is...Sparta!!!

Nope, I'm on the other side. I'm from Toronto. :P For anyone in the area, I saw it at Famous Players near Square 1 Mall. We got there at 2 p.m. and like I've said, we wanted tickets for the 4 p.m. IMAX show but everything was sold out, so we took the 4:30 p.m. normal one. At 3:30 p.m. we lined up. There was an actual line-up for the movie one hour before it started. Fortunately, we got good seats.
