Who thought up that rule of calling the car Bimmer and the bike Beemer anyways?
Look it up on some BMW forum theres endless pages on the origins

Btw, I call them BMWs because Beemer, Bimmer and Beamer sound stupid.
Also Bimmer in German is pronouned Beemer...so...yeah.

    High five!

As far as I can see, you just sound like you have a speech impediment if you call it a 'Bimmer'. All the guys I know here call them Beemers, too- even the guys at BMW's HQ, which is 4 miles down the road from me!

I don't know who dreamt it up, but in that typical British fashion we have, we're circumventing logic

I would take the BMW 850CSi but I have to say the Porsche 928 GTS is a beautiful car as well and I'm fairly sure it would be a very reliable and a fun to drive car.

850 is my all time favourite BMW, the automobile is gorgeous, nice smooth lines, and a powerfull engine to match. Truly a great car

Who's gonna be paying for the maintenance on these cars?

If I have to pay for it, the Porsche. Otherwise, I'd kill Rocke's own mother for a 850.

Hey, do that anyway. It's been a good while since I've had a decent sirloin steak to eat.

The BMW 8 Series, visually at least, is one of my favourite cars.....it's soooo perfect.
