    Help!!

I own a 1996 Toyota Supra TT and I go through rear tires lilke crazy I put a new set on last in April and they are now worn smooth - just had to change them. Is this normal? I don't race it, or perform exceessive burnouts. I have once or twice done the token skid of the lights obviously, but it isn't prolongued and for the mosdt part I have used it as a highway cruiser. Within this period I've covered less than 10,000 miles. Is this normal for Supras or could it be my driving style? I owned a Mustang Cpbra back home and those tires lasted many, many more miles.
Mustangs/ TVRs, M3s, 911 Turbos...make me smile from ear to ear...everything else..just makes me smile.

Hmm, what tyres did you put on it? Tires that are rated for superior grip/handling and speed will wear much faster than your average tire. Without knowing the brand of tire I can't really say much.

If you bought super sticky tires they'll be gone in two seconds. You need to find a good balance between grip and tire longevity.

And I'd also suggest asking the hairy dude fitting your tires and ask for his point of view..

It could just be the car, the NSX also wears out rear tyres very quickly and that is a similarly powered RWD car.
