Once heard this theory that on average, when you add your dad's height with your mom's, divide it by two. Then, if you're a dude, add 7cm. If you're a girl, deduct 7cm.
Worked perfectly with me, being 1.89m. Dad's 1.87, mom's 1.77. Surprisingly, my sister's 1.75.
Lesson: If you want tall kids, marry an Amazon.
