    It's Thundering Snow...****

****. Jesus Christ. Living in SE Wisconsin I've gotten pretty used to thunderstorms, but today it basically just sleeted all day and within the past ten minutes it started snowing like crazy and lightning like the fourth of July. This has never happened before. Please, send me yr muther****in prayers. ****. ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************.

I'm used to heavy snowstorms here in Quebec City so I don't worry much about snow but... thundering snow! Man that's amazing. I give you my prayers!

Wisconsin/Illinois weather is f-ed up. I remember something like that before. My parents are in northern Wisconsin and are in the midst of 5-8'' of snow.

I remember a few years ago there was snow OVER the roof of my house, which is approximately 25" high at its highest point. It was a weird feeling getting into the house by a tunnel and walking on my house! Thank God the weather calmed down and returned to normal... 15-16" each year

Jeez, we get thunder and snow at the same time a lot here in Indiana. Not like every day, of course, but at least once or twice a year. All it takes is a lot of contrast in the atmosphere and if it's cool to start with, and then turns abruptly colder, you can get a storm -- with thunder -- which has snow instead of rain.

It was funny as hell, but a few years ago it was the dead of winter and we just got blizzard conditions one night and there was one great big bolt of lightning and clap of thunder out of it. My wife and I were just watching tv in the living room and she about jumped out of her skin when it happened and spilled her drink all over herself. I just started cracking up laughing about it and she got all pissed off.

    But it was still hilarious...
