    we haven't had snow, but yesterday we had hailstones the size of golf balls

    Yup, its nearly as bad here. But not quite as bad

    50mph wind, thunder, pouring rain.. and thats just the start of it. Radio reports in this area say that trees are falling everywhere...!

    So all wooden houses are tore down by snow and wind over there by now huh?? I have heard roumors that they have rather poor build quality

    Its not the clothes that need work on over there, its just you are a couple of thousand kms too far from the equator
