I like the Vette because it's more affordable than the Viper. (~$65,000 for the Vette and ~ $85,000 for the Viper)

Lingenfelter, faster accelerators now, even on the track AND the drag strip, reliable, and just as powerful. Plus Hennessey's HORRID reputation and Lingenfelter's amazing warranty's and service....? Lingenfelter Corvettes win on all counts, sorry

EDIT: And yeah, this thread isn't being repeated for the hundreth time!

Ive read the Viper is more of a monster to drive. The vette also has had some major problems but in 07 they are supposed to be fixed. Id take the viper I dont care whats faster.

I would consider the Z06 as more of a thoroughbred sportscar that's agile around the corners, brakes and goes in a svelte manner.
The dodge viper? To me its a typical American muscle car, with factory built, Cornerophobia haha !

I'd have to pick the Viper. The car may lack just a second or so off the Vette, but b/c of the equal performance reviews, I'd have to choose Viper because of the rarity. The Viper also said to be a better and more reponsive car. Most reviews though crowned the Z06 king because it lapped faster and was cheaper.

The Viper was the first American car that caught my attention when I was little, even though I saw the Corvette first, plus I found no comfort sitting in the C6 Z06 at the auto show, luckily the engine wasn't on.
