    illu's Ferrari 612 Redesign

i took the ferrari 612, and re-designed it on paper, then through rendering and chopping....

    ta-da

    fyi:
-most of the body is new
    -lights and exhausts are old
    -the speakers (?) are new
    -rims are same

one more thing, some parts might look a tiny bit toony, this chop was mainly for design.

I can't really say it's an improvement, but it's not a bad looking vehicle.

I like almost all of the changes except how you angled the side windows downward, it messes up the line that goes from the top of the front fender and runs underneath the window. I really like the taillight design in the drawing, but the lights aren't as "hooded" in the chop as they are in the drawing. The part of the rear fender above the really pronounced part looks really smooth, almost 360 Modena-like...very nice. I think the side skirt right behind the front fender would look really good with an air extractor, and an air intake (If it could be seen) would look good in front of the rear fender.

Overall I really like the change, very good airbrushing

Neat chop, I think the wheels need to be a little bigger to fit the new design tho.

My biggest issue is the undersize wheels; the rest looks great though. Awesome work as always.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.

Looks like a widebody race car, imho. Pretty cool chop though.

Interesting. I like what you did with the side windows. However, personally I prefer the understated elegance of the 612 Kappa more. http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame...hp&carnum=2771

Its nice, excellent brushing, but as a design, it just doesn't flow as nicely as ferrari's of today do. Saying that, its a nice stab at it.

the front looks really strange... as if there is no longer a bonnet... and the wheels are tiny. Apart from that it's very nice

i like the overall theory of the chop, however, i think the front fender is just way too tall. it woudl look all downs syndromey from the front, and from this angle it just looks bloated up front. if you cut that down a bit, maybe put the fender flares at a sharper angle, it woudl loook a lot smoother. but the rear of the car is great, and i really like the side windows.

I love the vehicle for the following parts: The doors with the downard angle and the shape of it in general, as well as the tail of hte car... however i don't like the wheel arches, they make the car's wheels look smaller and mess up the line as well... but good job though
