    Personally i rather natural aspiration for the smoother power delivery, but forced induction by means of either chemical or mechanical is alot cheaper.

    oh, this is a tech thread. in that case i will go for an electrocharger, ie a s/c powered by a motor not the crankshaft.

    Belt driven superchargers consume 40-60% of the power they create just to run them.

    I'll take a low to moderate boost turbo setup with good spool characteristics. Say, full boost by 3800.

    It'd take a big motor to turn it. And that would draw a lot of current. The motor would be heavy and you'd need a high output alternator.

    As for exact numbers, that would depend on individual applications.

    Naturally Aspirated, smooth power curve and reserve to make power later on.
