i'm just messing around. they get raped at trackdays by everything
the thing is, if i wanted a powerful saloon, i'm not sure either of these two cars would be the 'sensible' choice, although the RS4 is tempting (certainly better looking)

I voted against BMW! Gasp! M5 is way to ugly and quite a bit larger I must say.

Which is what I said, but still, there isn't really an M3 to pitch the RS4 against, the outgoing model was a coupe or a convertable...

But the previous generation RS4 was an estate and it was group tested with a Tuscan, M3, Skyline R34, 996 and more. They don't have to be exactly the same to compare them.
Audi humbles Porsche. A new dawn starts today.

    Being nice since 2007.

    The Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG, the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG, the Mercedes-Benz S 600 and the Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG are all faster than the BMW M5.

But then again, they do have 6.3liter engines as opposed to 5liter.. Plus BMW's have stupidly complicated computer systems Mercedes have their 7G-Tronic 7 Speed Gearboxes

Since this is not any kind of racing series (where usually rules concerning the displacement are applied) it doesn't matter. Ingolstad said if it was the fastest 4-door saloon and I replied with the cars that are faster than it.

Even the RS6+ Avant was faster. 0-60 in 4.6 secs compared to 4.7. It still counts

It's ride isn't that bad to be honest. The A6 it's based one was way too soft, but they sorted it out, KIND OF, by the time ours was built
