Socom has to be on there, its really a fun game. Vehicles, custom weapons, nice big online levels, realistic shooting, camoflauge. IMHO its the best online shooting game, narrowly beating BF2.

AFAIK the PC and console versions are completely different games except for the names and brandings, etc. It gets hard in the mission "Quarterback".Originally Posted by clutch-monkey

i didn't play th ePC version all the way through, but the first half seemed identical to the console version..

I think that's the only game that I bought this year, so I think it would be a fairly unfair for me to vote for it as my game of the year. (PC version, natch)
It is bloody awesome though. I think I racked up about 60 hours of gameplay without actually furthering the storyline since I closed down the first gate. Haven't played it for months though.

Star Wars Battlefront 2- XBox 360. The game has excellent online play, plenty of strategy, and is just plain fun.

is there even a PC version yet? so far it's the best rainbow six game since raven shield. if the PC version is as different as GRAW was i probably won't bother with it
