There are perfectly competent Volkswagens, it's just that between a Golf VR6 Mk III and a Renault Clio RS I'd prefer the latter. Change the Golf into Mk I, II or V GTI or an R32 Mk IV and the answer would be different.

still have them, it was running on semi-slicks, they waste far too quick, so i decided to get normal tyres and save the slicks for track days...

I got an offer for the clio too good to refuse, and always wanted a VR6 ever since 9years old, on the same day of the sale i found this mint, very cheap vr6 and it was only natural.

Just two things are different from your example compared to his. One is that you already had both guitars, while he doesn't seem to have both cars. And secondly cars are a tiny little bit more expensive than guitars...

Of course if he has kept the Renault, forget all of the above.
