So basically what they're doing is using other inmates as a way to exact harsher punishment for crimes against women. Why don't they just grow some balls and introduce the death penalty for violent or sex crimes against women instead of having inmates doing it and look the other way? I mean that's what they're saying isn't it? Commit violence or rape against a woman and you're going to get your neck broken?

What the guy said is true though. My teacher used to work in prisons and he said that inmates get beat all the time, worst of all pedophiles though. They have a hospital wing in prisons because of how often it occurs.

Unfortunately, it's been shown punishment doesn't really prevent such crimes beyond a certain point. The real way has to be addressing the causes in the first place. Most people who commit rape or abuse had it happen to them, and mentally f*cked them up. So you have to disrupt the chain. How? I don't know, if I did, i'd probably do something :P
