Taking away the guy from the scene the video does provide a very good idea how inefficient a three lane motorway is being used in Turkey.....

Stupid for driving like that in traffic, but good reflexes the whole way through.
He should have aborted as soon as he saw that ambulance.
Plus, did you notice how many people braked with him behind them? People get scared and immediately go for the brakes without any forethought about that causing more problems.

I rather think that they want him to slow down....I do the same sometimes when I see somebody coming really fast from behind (in particular German made SUVs) and I have nowhere to go...(but I use the left foot
