Better only in terms of elegance and beauty which are of course subjective... Definately not a value for money...

Ferreri F430, would have to be in grey though.

It's just the most desirable to me, get te Ferrari badge, more than enough speed, quality, comfort...

    The list goes on.

I somehow find that henk's choice true enough, cars in these segments aren't meant to destroy the roads nor opponents, more than being a devastating tool for speed, the're often other traits that exudes such as the presence, brand halo effect, the exclusiveness. It's the perceived status that one gets with cars like these, and that's important.

If i'm situated in US, I'd probably not get the F430 or Gallardo, coz i'm certain i'd bump into craps like 50 cents driving one as well, I'd go with Corvette, at least theres some heritage to brag about.

Well, the closest any of these that i prefer, is the F430 or Gallardo. Cause both are nearest to 8C and R8

gallardo, no doubt. Best looking, best driving (obv not from personal experience), coolest, least common. Just best in almost every category imo

As these are special cars, I'd want either the Gallardo or the F430, which to me are the most special. The Gallardo is probably more able in street driving with it's bigger, torquer engine and AWD system but the F430 wins out with a purer design. The F430 is the simplest (as in less is more) design among these cars except the C6, which might be too simple for this group.

Well in my opinion the Maserati Gransport is all I need when it comes to performance, and much better than all the others in terms of image, elegance, style and brand. And at 116k € it's cheaper than the Ferrari, the Porsche and the Lambiorghini, so pretty good value as far as I'm concerned. Other possible choices would be the Jaguar XKR or the Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG.

And if I wanted true performance I'd choose a Porsche 911 GT3 RS over all of the other choices.

Being loyal to the brand that started the entire car passion for me, I go with Porsche. There is no substitute.

Like the Ferrari doesn't have heritage?

I'd take the 997 Turbo. I'd really prefer a GT3 (no complicated turbos, 4WD etc.), but the Turbo is the closest thing to a GT3 in this comparo.

BTW, which is more expensive, the Turbo or the GT3?
