    Nooo...the new TVR Sagaris was recently launched and although I'm unsure whether I like it as much as the first, and although both of the cars you mention are very good, it's certainly the sportscar of the year for me.

    Some people are suggesting cars that were launched prior to 2006, the whole point of "Car of the YEAR" is that it's supposed to be a recognition of the best new car (i.e. one that was launched this YEAR, funnily enough!)

    Oh, and I really think we need a definition of "sports cars", because we need to know whether we're comparing the MX-5 you (Clutch) suggested to the likes of the Koenigsegg CCX that Cyco suggested, or whether there are price, power etc. limits.

    it's sold pretty much exclusively in a country of the same surface area as my backyard, at least both vehicles i mentioned are available worldwide
