    Leaked: Jaguar C-XF concept

The C-XF has the same 400 horsepower 4.2-liter V8 as the S-Type R. The production model will be offered with a wide range of powerplants, similar to the existing S-Type. The production model will have a less sloped roofline, since the XF is intended to compete with the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class, rather than the Mercedes CLS.

This should be an addition to the lineup instead if replacing the S-type imo.

While it looks really nice and sleek, it doesn't look very "Jaguar" to me. IMO it looks like a Maserati, and a Acura sedan.

I think that it looks great. Although the rear still looks like an Aston, the front is a big improvement over the current one IMO. I'll be looking to get some good shots of this at Detroit (I'm going again this year. ).

Thank god they're getting rid of the S-type! I think this looks great; the headlights give it just enough "Jag." It can't come soon enough; the S-type was a good stop-gap, but it's had its day.

Indeed. Looks like a Lexus that was raped by an Aston Martin.

Let's put a regular Jag grill (XJ's double grill or XK's ellipse), instead of a Volvo one!
Other parts are OK for me

some people see Jaguars as a more sporty, luxury car. This car is also almost certainly sporty due to the undeniable success which the CLS has had with it's good looks, good driving experience and luxurious, well set out, classy interior. Good looks go a long way to getting sales.

The rear end does remind me of the new Mondeo and there's something Ford-ish in the front too. Though I suppose this should be a size bigger than the Mondeo, at least if they'll build an X-type successor based on it.

OMG. Thou it 'looks good' (Any such designs look good); it'll destroy Jaguar. Just look at the front end..... some farm boy trying to sound cool by calling himself eragon? I personally disliked the S-Type for its looks, and i don't like XKR either; but i somehow adore X-Type and XJ' styling. This is another try and die attempt from Jaguar. Perhaps many finds it 'refreshing' .... just a handful would actually think they should produce it, and with recent Jaguar and Ford's financial chaos, i think it'll be a reassembly of parts from the bin as well.
