    Saddam Hussein executed

BAGHDAD - Saddam Hussein was executed by hanging shortly before 2pm (AEDT) today, US-backed Iraqi television station Al Hurra and Arabic satellite channel Arabiya said.

Iraqi Deputy Foreign Minister Labeed Abbawi also said the execution had taken place.

"I believe so, yes. He has been executed. It has been officially announced that he has been executed," Abbawi said, speaking by telephone to BBC News 24.

I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Pity... To be totally honest i found him a less violent leader then Bush. And he has so far been one of the few to control all these groups in Iraq But offcourse killing thousands isnt right, why Bush should be hanged as well

I, on the other hand, am really glad we got rid of another psychopatic murdering dictator. The current situation in Iraq is far from being ideal, but that doesn't change the fact that Saddam was responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths. As some Iraqi politician recently said, its a pity that they can hang him only once.

But don't worry Drakkie, Hussain may be dead, but you still have others like Kim Dzong-Il, Robert Mugabe or Fidel Castro to worship. Though the latter won't last long.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Wicked, Drakkie has just approved genocide!!
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

What do you admire about him?
