i dunno if it's stupid, but i don't ever make resolutions ever. A lot of people see it is a kind of new beginning, if they wanna give up smokin or, as you said, lose weight, or whatever else...

i love the start of a new year, however, i don't see it as a new beginning. i see it as another chapter in my life. i just have goals for different segments other than what is broken up by years.

and because i didn't say it before, i hope you all have a god next year, and that this year met all of your expectations. i know mine did, and i am very thankful for it.

I dont get why we even bother with new years celebrations........just because the Earth is in the same position in relation to the sun as it was 365 days ago, and that Earth has just started its 2007th lap around the sun since the time of christ........so what?

But no matter.......may we all have a great year

    Happy New Year everyone.

And to those who don't know why or care to celebrate then you need to get your asses over here to Scotland for a "Hogmanay" Party........

only here to pick up some e-mails sent from friends elsewhere with phone numbers .... back to drink and wumin

Well it was definitely a cracking hogmanay... went out with a bang, literally!

We got winds 40mph gusting to 90 ... which took with it an extensive list of garden items, danaged fences, gates, barbeque, tables, chairs, plants, wheelie bins, the lot really.

And just held out another one, which finished around 10 mintes ago, which started at 3:30am.. (now 05:13) ... Peter i'd think you have got lucky on the East Coast, from the sounds of things hitting other things the damage may be quite high... although cant tell until the morning.

    Barbeque - £150 , Fence Panel - £50 , Gate - £40 , Wooden Stumps - £20 - Seeing it all blow down in a massive gust of wind - priceless...
