    Highlights:

Strangely, I can't find anything that's worthy of being a highlight for 2006. I'm still alive, I guess Oh, and I went premium with UCP

    Lowlights:

There have been many of them, from fighting with my father to some health dramas

    Overall:

2006 has been a shocker. I don't ever want a repeat of it...but unfortunately some of the problems I've had are out of my control and will haunt me in the new year. I'm hoping 2007 will be alot better though.

    Oh, lordy.

    Here's the lowlights.

Godawful job at the local school bus factory.

Godawful job trying to sell insurance for a gang of assholes.

Godawful job detailing cars, in a little metal building, in the middle of a 100-degree plus Arkansas heat wave.

Other than all the wretched jobs, it was a pretty good year.

    And the highlights:
    Getting engaged.

Quitting my last job detailing cars to write for the local newspaper.

My best friend having a kid.

Winning at my first try autocrossing and getting to write about it for the paper.

Interviewing Dax Riggs, the most hardcore, talented, brutal, brilliant, and under-appreciated death-metal frontman of all time.

Winning a couple awards on this website.
    I'm erudite ;-)

    Highlights
    - Getting my learner's licence and driving and all that
    - Getting picked for a sprinting academy
    - Doing alright at school
    - New Friends
    - Parties

    Lowlights
    - Quitting Basketball Team
    - Continuing to put off getting a job
    - General teenage stuff...boredom, hating stuff, going thru weird phases
    - Being 2nd-best at English in my year (best mate deemed to be the best, he gets trophy, teacher tells me I was unlucky).

Overall - dunno....about a 6.5/10. A big improvement on 2005 (which was just shit), but I reckon 2007 could be a ripper. I've got alot of stuff lined up, alot of stuff I wanna do. 'Tis an important year as well....first year of NCEA (New Zealand's extremely stupid national qualifications system) for me....important I do well.
I am a New Zealander, and I hate Greg Murphy. Yes, we exist.
