Honda entered 3 NSXs in 94 and all three were classified as finished.
The fastest Honda was still beaten by the Alpine A610 entered -- by 15 laps !!!!

The 792P gives the answer really.

THey needed more power to compete but then couldn't get rid of the heat.
Tales of the bodywork bursting into flames and of them trying many exhaust configuration sduring design/testing. The car also sprouted LOTS of holes and louvres to try to cool it from this early styling.

Dont' think it sounded as wild as the 787

No, I was thinking about 1995, when 2 of the Hondas in GT1 failed and the remaining one in GT2 won.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

All Group C cars were lighter than 1000 kg.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

yes, many Group C cars only weigh in the hundreds. The Toyota 88CV ran at about 900, the Jaguar XJR9 weighed about 900, and the Peugeot 905 weighed less than the 787B.
