Sorry if I cannot express myself correctly, but I don't know English as good as I want, so my answers will probably be the same in many cases.

It looks like the result of an un-holy three-way between a Cayman, a CGT, and a GT1...actually I kinda like it.

i like it, except the back end drops down quite a bit... i assume that Porsche isn't willing to negotiate aerodynamics for the sake of aesthetics, but personally i think it looks kinda silly to be that low. of course, this is all assuming that these pictures are accurate

If they're like most concept sketches, they're accurate in overall form and basic idea, but totally inaccurate in detail.

I don't mind if it looks like that if it wins races... Otherwise it's a little hideous.

Wasnt the original porsche Gt1 made due to racing regs and not intended as a daily driver? so why is this a successor to the CGT?

Obviously noone will drive this on the streets as a CGT?
I dont see how this will take over the CGT's place, this looks like an all out race special

I don't like it, it has too many things going on with it. Then again the CGT was damn near perfects, its hard to improve upon perfection.

I'd like to know what proof these magazines have they they don't make these "leaked" drawings themselves. I cant believe that official concept sketches would be done in Photoshop, especially since it uses pieces of the Audi R10 and CLK-GTR!

The Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion was made because the racing regulations of the time stated that in the GT1-class there should at last exist one road going version of the racing car. The Carrera GT was originally intended to be a racing car too, but a change of regulations rendered it useless and therefore Porsche decided to enlarge the engine and sell it to the public. This could either be a GT1-like car (a homologation special, altough I fail to see in which category would fit right now) or a normal supercar. Regarding the car I think it looks very ugly indeed, but I doubt that if they actually made it, it would end up looking like that.

By the way, how old is Paul Frère? Does he still road test cars?
