    Looks awesome, can anyone find hi res photos and a press release? Checked Fords website but they didn't have anything on it.

    Holy bajeezus, that's beautiful. That's pretty cool about trying to revive the Trans-Am racing series too, it'd be a real kick to see all the pony cars on a track together.

    On a side note, is this Mustang in any way related to the FR500 concept from a few years back?

    More likely a Mustang racer that has no equivalent, mechanically speaking, in the Mustang production lineup.

    There doesn't seem to be a mention of this car anywhere on the Ford media site. Fordracingparts.com have it on their site but there's no high-res images. I'll post any high-res images I do find.
