This is an interesting comparison. I agree with Henk that someone from Denmark needs to post the prices from there, absolutely ridiculous (the prices that is).

It's not Denmark but the taxation is rather heavy here too.

Prices in Belgium:
Ferrari F430 F1: €165238 | (215 883 USD)
Mercedes CL600: €159599 | (208 516 USD)
Lotus Elise S: €36800 (Elise R= €46100) | (48 079 / 60 229 USD)
BMW M6: €113800 | (148 680 USD)
Audi TT 3.2: €40500 | (52 913 USD)
Honda S2000: €38180 | (49 882 USD)
Lamborghini LP640*: €260150 | (339 886 USD)
Aston Martin DB9: €150000 | (195 975 USD)
Spyker C8 Laviolette: €291247 | (380 514 USD)
Hummer H2: €72900 | (95 244 USD)
All prices include 21% sales tax.
I think all of these cars cost €5000 to put them on the road in taxes (one time tax) and between €2500 and €5000 every year in taxes. After that you have to add mandatory insurance.
*I THINK that's the LP640, 6.5litre V12 with 640hp. The Roadster has the 6.2 litre engine with 580hp.

I provided the prices in Euros, so they are correct. I think that the Ferrari F430 price was missed at the input stage so the other Australian prices are shifted 1 car to the left.

Quick update on the UK prices: the brand new issue of EVO magazine features the Spyker C8 Laviolette and lists the basic price as £192,465. That equates to 285,700 Euros.
(PS. Why the hell doesn't my keyboard have a button for the Euro sign?! )

Well I'm in Europe (although I don't use the Euro currency), and my comp is only 6 months old and it's built by Siemens actually in Germany. I'd never noticed it before but I'm rather suprised that it doesn't have one when it has £ and $ signs. Ho hum.Originally Posted by Rockefella
