i dont see why you use the turbo versons of all the cars and you leave the 3000GT hanging out to dry. There is a VR4. I would probably go with a 300ZX. just because i like them

btw, none of these cars are expensive in the states. Had a supra last year. The only expensive one would probably be a NSX.

I gotta agree there, The VR4's and the Stealth R/T TT were 3.0L V6 twin turbo/twin intercooler...thats the one you should be comparing too. Not to mention the AWD and all those other nifty things not on the base and SL trims.

I love the Honda NSX (especially the NSX-R) and the Mazda RX-7 equally. Both cars have great performance figures and I've read many reviews which state they are great/fun to drive. I can't decide which car is better so I would have a
    3rd generation series 8 (7?) RX-7 and a NSX-R.

However, I still really like the 3000GT, 3000zx and the Supra as well and I would be happy to have any of these cars as well.

exactly nice to agree with someone on this subject. Chubby or not, the supra tt would in most cases beat a rx-7.

Wow. The Asian cars forum is kind of a cesspool. Anyway, the NSX is still ahead of the game 15 years on in terms of build quality and driver involvement, the 3000 GT is a pig, the RX-7 is a great little sportscar limited by a short-lived engine. The Supra has a great engine, but a so-so chassis, from what I've read.

At any rate, where are the rally reps? Surely the WRX and EVO deserve mention in a "best ever Japanese" shortlist.
