    Bob's Car

Figured I might as well put this on here now. I got it about six months ago, it's a 1991 Z28 Camaro, 5 speed manual, 305 cid V8 ~240 hp and 300 ft lbs of torque. Hp is pathetic for such a large displacement, due to tons of emissions gear. I'm hoping to remedy that soon . It's very fun to drive, there's nothing quite like loads of torque.

Nice car, even if I am not a fan of that body style. Insurance must be a bitch.

This will be the most important question asked to you:

    Do you have a mullet?

Nice car, any mods in the future?

I don't know why, but I actually like that bodystyle... and boy, is it blue

Get the emissions pipery removed and shove a Whipple Charger on it. Bingo.

And what is your real name- Dave or Bob?!

I'd open it up with a new full exhaust. Friend has a 95 Z28 with duals. 3inch tips, it sounds good.

Insurance isn't too bad, as I have no accidents, and discounts for driving school etc.
    No mullet
Actually 305 > 350 swaps are quite common the LB9 and L89 engines are very similar, so it's not hard to do. Unfortunately I don't have the moeny
As far as mods nothing expensive because as I said I really dont have the money. The cat is rebuilt and exhaust is new, because they were destroyed when I got the car, and they're better than stock, but not high performance. I'm going to do the standard cheap stuff, spark plugs, filters, and maybe later siamese the intkae manifold for more horsepower and maybe some ecu tuning. I love the body style, it's quite badass unfortunately interior quality isn't great, although a lot can be fixed if you know how to improvise. I spent a few hours last week and silenced my rattly doors with a few feet of vac tubing foam and zip ties. And my real name is Dave.

    You stole my question/joke. Ass...

That 305 is pathetic. Swap a 350 and stick a blower on it.

Chevy's 305 (5.0L) and 350(5.7L) engines from this model year are very similar, so it's easy to swap out the smaller LB9 for the larger L89. But I don't have the money or the experience to do that right now. On the other hand, I'm enjoying the 305 quite much
