What would you call Abdul Rahmin Yasin, the man who mixed the chemicals to make the bomb set off in 1993 in the World Trade Center, who was receiving safe haven in Baghdad and getting a monthly salary from the Iraqi government?
The same as we should have called Colonel Oliver North perhaps

al Qaeda and the Taliban's ability to commit terrorist attacks on a large scale flourished during the '90s instead of those terrorist organizations being damaged as they are today.

That's because Clinton was president before 9/11. A president who was more concerned about his poll ratings than the safety of his country.

What’s really amazing is that you can still cling on to any tenuous links between Iraq and terrorism and yet ignore the abundance of facts that point to the opposite. That of course reeks of blind patriotism.
I have posted info before about Iraq's ties to terrorism. And now you're back to the "blind patriotism" garbage again? After you admitted I am not one of those?

    One guy?

I think the U.S needs to shift its focus back to Afghanistan, Canada is stuck in the most volatile region and a Canadian soldier is 6 times more likely to be killed in Afghanistan then an American soldier in Iraq. Seriously those 20,000 new troops should be going to Kandahar.

Ok so let me get this straight: Saddam has been known to be working with Al Queda for awhile now?

So the U.S has been funding terrorism since the early 1990s...interesting...

    NOT reading
THe Britush government engaged the IRA supporters, they took a softly-softly approach to handling the situation.
They were neither ignored nor "liberated".
    THAT was the point.

    NORAID ?
Allowing known IRA terrorist bombers to visit the US to raise funds for the fight ?
I'm afraid you need to learn a little more about the darker history of your country.
The IRA weren't armed with Kalashnikovs -- they had M16s and Enfields

It';s always fun to click on teh "About" button for links thrown out like that.
    Talk about "hidden agendas"
My favourite quote has to come from your second link tho' ..... "More support comes from General Tom McInerney, the Fox News Military" ... hmmmm a very crdible source -- NOT
I also nearly split my sides laughing that they quoted the "Glasgow Herald" article !!! oooh a respected widely distrubuted "News"paper -- DOUBLE NOT
