    Chrysler Atlantic

I think this car is from 1995. There don't seem to be too many good pics of it here, and I'd like to see more of this car if anyone has any. I have only one pic that shows a bit of the interior.

I like it, and the Chrysler Chronos from about the same time, I believe. It had similar styling, but was a four-door with a little more size to it. They would've been a very nice pair of cars had Chrysler considered producing them.

Would it be one of the 2 in the background of the 4th pic of the 4th set?
I want to die in my sleep like my Grandma, not screaming like the other 3 people in her car.

No, I don't believe so. I Googled it and got this picture, among others.

Remember seeing both of those in a magazine from about 1996 or so.
Nice enough cars, pity Chrysler couldn't put that flair into their production cars (Viper, etc excluded)

    Yes the front is similar...

What a shame they didn't put into production as the concept was.

Oh absolutely, the grill was (at the time) a herald of the direction Chrysler's cars were going in. I think this is one of the best looking 4-door concepts I've ever seen.

Oh, and does anyone else think it looks a lot like the Maserati Quattroporte?

Just a smidge (see attached photo). I think either of these cars (Chronos or Atlantic) would have made a stunning Imperial.

As to the Chrysler Atlantic, it hasn't been mentioned and isn't readily obvious, but that impressive hood covers an inline eight-cylinder engine, which I believe was the first use of a straight-eight since the 1950's.

Google is superfluous when you have access to this marvelous website.

the chrysler atlantic was meant to uhm... represent(cant think of the right word) the Bugatti Atlantique hence the name, styling and use of a straight 8

Fantastic car. I would have thought it came from a long while back if I didn't know better. It really shows off the smooth curves that seem to have fallen out of favor recently.
