    My New Car

    Hey guys,

Got a new car last week, an early 21st Birthday present! Had a Micra up until around December, when some knob drove into the back of it and got it written off... didnt manage to get any good pictures of that before then.

'06 plate, 1.0, T3 spec - goddamn awesome stereo system, and loadsa little cool extras. Really really cool car.

Hopefully some more photos and an egg-nog coming soon.....

Yaris ftw. I want one too as soon as I'll be able to pay myself one. Enjoy yourself in this little yet great car.

The new Yaris looks cool - and gains extra kudos for being one of the only new superminis to actually stay 'mini'. It's a nice car you have there.

The only thing I'd be put-off by when considering a new Toyota is a tendency for them to be designed as appliances rather than drivers' cars. The new Yaris and Auris look nice, and I'm keeping an open mind as to my attitude towards it as a drivers' car but it takes more than good looks; which leads me to the question:

"Can we have a review from you, especially focussed telling us how it drives?"

I don't think at that price point any of other rivals is going to be a drivers car, not considering hot versions of course. In this part of the market other things are more important so it's normal that manufacturers concentrate on them.

I agree with you to some extent, however I have to say that my car manages to be fun to drive (comparable for fun factor to my dad's Mini One D) - and that was only £7,100 new. Cheap doesn't necessarily mean nasty...

Yup, but those are quite a lot exepnsive than a base Yaris. Plus hot versions are always fun...
