I say Bernie Ecclestone is going to win. I mean this season is probably going to be tight so he going to make some serious money I think...

That will probably be the case for this year as well, but still with such a major reshuffle of the big names and very promising new drivers - I'm very interested to see where this is going.

There's no denying this is the most unpredictable season in a while. Or at least it'll be unpredictable by about the 4th race, because it'll be one driver winning everything.

It doesnt help that its still unclear how all the 07 challengers stand, even in testing.

Wait a month when most of the expected front runners will be doing serious testing with 2 new cars, and hopefully that should clear it up a bit.

no chance of ferrari winning with schumi gone and that tire sponsor switch, most likely renault

i thought it was michelin who quit

anyway i reckon it will be one of two outcomes

    1) if mclaren build a car that doesn't self-combust then Alonso will win

    2) if not raikkonnen in the ferrari

or I could just go (half) patriotic and say jensen in the honda

DC isnt the number one driver anywhere anymore, not even at home I'm tipping, I reckon his missus is faster to the shops than old DC... I dont understand why you would even bother to include the spykers, the super aguris or even the torro roso's, they havent got a snowflakes chance in hell of even winning a race much less winning the title outright.

Hes probably assuming that due to DC being in the #14 car, and Webber in the #15 car, that he was the #1 driver.

I wouldn't be so quick in writing off David Coulthard. I understand you're a big Mark Webber fanboy, well this year is a make or break year for his career. Webber so far has been mainly up against young rookies like Yoong, Pizzonia, Klien, Rosberg whom he has been expected to beat handsomely. In '05 he was up against the more experienced Heidfeld whom he did beat, but largely due to Heidfeld being injured for the last few races of the season. It would've been mightily close without that injury. Now he's up against his toughest challenge yet against a wily old pro like Coulthard.

DC has always been a good driver, pretty quick and very consistent. However, when up against genuine title contenders like Mika and Kimi he just didn't quite make the grade. He was never too far off them though. If Webber is to really prove his race or championship winning credentials then he'll have to beat DC convincingly this season, which won't be easy with DC being so settled and at home at RBR. If at his age and this stage of his career Webber cannot consistently outperform DC then he can kiss any chance of a seat in a big team and a title shot goodbye.

    Injured or sacked???

Youre dead right, I AM a Webber fanboy. And youre dead right, he HAS to beat DC to have a chance at a decent car etc... I just happen to think that in a Newey designed car, with a Renault donk in the back, he IS in a decent car. I don't care what happens though really as long as its not a Kimi white(red)wash all season.
