I don't agree with that. Alonso deserves every single win (race or championship) he achieves. It doesn't matter how arrogant he is. That is not a criteria for a good driver. If he says "I'm the best" and then he goes and wins the championship..well..he's the best.
And he is certainly no more arrogant than schumacher.

The car is amazing. The shape of the engine intake is so beautiful

No one said that he didn't deserve to win, or that he wasn't a good driver. I, and others, percieve him as a prick - and just like it's your right to your opinion it is our right to have a different one. Good for you for sticking up for "your" driver though.

fwiw: I look forward to seeing him walk back to pits after he grenades engines this season...

As nopassn said we're not discussing his abilty, infact I agree that his is one of the best (if not the best) driver on this year's grid, but it's how he manages his image, his public appearances, what he says, that make me have this opinion of him.

And no, I don't like Schumacher either.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.

You see the boffins at McLaren Mercedes have tried it all - new engines, new drivers, new sponsors, new members within the team, but they cant seem to stick it. Yeah you guessed it, they blew their engine 1 lap into teatin... shocked?

"there were some minor problems to limit running, but reports on the net of engine failure were in fact just a small oil leak, as he returned after an hour in the garage to complete a further 40 laps before the end of the day."
    Thanks for all the fish

good news for us Alanso haters - looks like he's saving the spectacle of blowing engines for race weekend(s)

you must be joking it's so ugly i can look at it... silly nose from MP-21 that looks like a duck, clumsy deflector, ugly air inlets, silly walls above them, hideous exhaust and that hump above the engine... beauty is certainly not the strongest point of that vehicle

My brother loves gambling, and he said that one of the vegas sportsbooks has odds on the 2007 F1 season. I told him to put money on Ferrari winning the constructors championship. Kimi is going to be excellent and Massa is also very capable so I see Ferrari easily winning the constructors championship. Hopefully every podium will be seeing a lil bit of red...

although i'd agree that Ferrari are favourites for the WCC at the leasr, i personally hope we dont see continual domination from any particular team.

personally if think if mclaren gives FA a car which is able to continiously compete for podiums and a few wins, he will win a 3rd title.

On the other hand ferrari ought to win the costructors, if their machinery is reliable enough. and hopfully the vdrivers title too

    Hamilton + Alonso + McLaren MP4-22 = Heaven?

Gorgeous car, and i hope McLaren win the championship (obviously) and i hope Lewis Hamilton is the one to win it, but obviously will still be delighted if Alonso wins

Personally I hope to see more of what we've seen over the last two years with Mclaren. Fire and no points.
Yup, you are looking at a Tifosi right here.

I also loved that one, the 412 T1B.

This car (althought it0s the same has the 2006 one) has a sexy body shape, but too many wings/aerodynamical devices and that's ruins the hole shape..
