It is a very very nice looking car.

I would go as far as cotterik and say its one of the best looking of all time but it is definatly one of the best looking in the last few years. That red and chrome is just sexy.

I just hope that they are more reliable than last year...
Im with rocke, not a alonso fan, but Ive been a Mclaren fan for a loooong long time.

Somehow i feel that McLaren deserved some wins. Can't tell you why.

Btw. are there more pictures to come? Some shots from the studio?

The last thing I saw that Spyker made was that SUV thing... you know that horrible looking think... so I'm not gonna hold my breath that their F1 car is going to dazzle. Also, the MP4-22 is ok, but it doesn't really blow my skirt up. McReis is right F1 cars from the 60's and 70's absolutely rule. The "spy" shots of the new Renault look to indicate that it will be the best new F1 car - the mirrors are totally sick.

And I still hope Alanso, fatter or not, stuffs it in a wall... hard... and can't race... anymore... ever... ever.

I totally agree. I really can't see why anyone would want that, even if he's not your favourite driver.

What I really can't understand is this sudden anti-Alonso feeling that seems to be going round. I can kinda understand it with nopassn and the other die-hard Ferrari fans as he has stolen Ferrari's thunder the past 2 seasons, but it's not as though he hasn't deserved it. As for the others I really don't know what he's done to offend people. He's a young guy who is outstandingly talented and seems to be a decent enough guy from what I've seen of him, why begrudge him? Maybe it's just a case of people not having anyone to bash since Schumi retired, they just decide to bash the guy who has taken his throne.

Anyone care to explain what they dislike so much about Alonso?

i dont wish him to come to any harm.. just never race again. simple enough.

i dont really know why i hate him so much. perhaps because i am a big schumacher fan. he does remind me of JPM though, who i also detest.

I'd probably only call it 1 season. Ferrari couldnt put up much of a fight in 2005.

That and he's just rubs me the wrong way - even when Ferrari comes out and waxes his "also-ran" ass this season, I'm still going to hate him... even when he's washed up and retires, I'll still hate him... He just rubs me the wrong way... the fact that he beat "my" team two years running certainly doesn't help his cause.

I don't really wish him harm, but if he got hut, it certainly wouldn't break my heart - for him not to race again would be great, but retribution for his transgressions against my team must be paid - and if it involves him being in the Paralympics, so be it.

    YaY!
You see the boffins at McLaren Mercedes have tried it all - new engines, new drivers, new sponsors, new members within the team, but they cant seem to stick it. Yeah you guessed it, they blew their engine 1 lap into teatin... shocked?

Imagine the suffering of those of us faced with having that cretin drive for our team.

Hopefully Hamilton will stand up to the challenge and at least some success to the team that can be celebrated without the melancholy of it being someone you dislike intensely achieving it.

    No, "they" didn't.

The engine blew up, that is the fault of the engine and those that created it, not the fault of the people who created the rest of the car.

You would have thought that after nearly a decade of regular engine expiry, Mercedes would have done something to protect their reputation by ensuring it never happened again.

They don't appear to have such problems in other motorsports.

Still, the new regs ensure that it'll be happening for quite some time - every thing else may change, but somewhere down the grid there'll be a Mercedes badged car with bits coming out the back.
    Thanks for all the fish

Basically because he's an arrogant asshole.

(Sorry for the insults just get it off my chest)
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
